After great feedback from a number of our CTDS members, we're excited to announce a clinic with Rachel Saavedra This clinic is open to all levels of riders and horses.
Priority will be given to those participants with two or more sessions with Rachel.
Rachel Saavedra is one of only a few USDF certified FEI trainers. She has been a senior faculty member for the USDF trainer program for over 25 years, teaching workshops throughout the country.
Rachel thoroughly enjoys teaching and has taught clinics all around the US and overseas. She has taught the California Dressage Society amateur series four times.
Rachel has been a keen competitor for decades. She developed her first Grand Prix horse in the early 90’s and was long listed on him after the 1996 Olympic selection trials.
She has developed multiple Grand Prix horses since then, qualifying for Gladstone and long listed again on Robello. She has brought many trainers and amateurs up the levels, many to Grand Prix.
Rachel has trained many stallions, some for early testing and then on up the levels. She has produced USDF Horse of the Year champions at PSG and Int. 2 and innumerable USEF regional and California state champions throughout the levels. Rachel has over 100 Grand Prix finishes alone.
She is very proud of her many successful students and also proud to train all her horses to be their best selves, happily and clearly enough for them to become schoolmasters. Now that she is back in the Southwest, she is bringing her experience to the region to help perpetuate the best dressage practices at every level.
