We're pleased to announce a clinic with Ben Albright, a USDF bronze, silver and gold medalist with success in competition from National to CDI level. He has won champion year end award rankings from USDF to Intermediare 2 as well as USDF reserve champion year end awards to Grand Prix. This clinic is open to all levels of riders and horses.
Ben Albright is one of the country’s most accomplished young professionals. At 21, he achieved the 5 star Centerline Scores rider rating, showing formidable achievements from Materiale to Grand Prix on multiple horses at each level.
In addition to his competition prowess, Ben has developed a solid reputation for building confidence in young horses, stallions and particularly difficult cases both at shows and at home. He has started close to 30 horses under saddle and works with them, both young and advanced, in a very simple, horse-friendly way and believes in cross training to produce happy, sound athletes.
Ben is known for being an exceptionally intuitive trainer and treats the horses with respect and compassion. He builds the horse’s understanding, confidence and strength in straightforward, simple ways.
Although Ben is a serious competition rider, he also trains some of his horses to do work at liberty and in bridleless dressage.
In addition to being an exceptional horseman, Ben is an accomplished instructor and popular clinician. His teaching style is described by students as friendly and engaging with an uncanny ability to communicate in a relaxed, conversational way, putting both horse and rider at ease from the start.
More than 20 of his students have completed bronze, silver or gold medals under his tutelage and range from beginner riders to students competing at the USEF Festival of Champions.
These clinics will be exclusively for CTDS members. A maximum of 10 participant sessions per day.
Please complete a separate registration for each ride.
Priority will be given to those participants with two or more sessions with Ben.
