Due to lack of entries this clinic has been canceled
Working Equitation is a sport that was created to honor the European tradition of riding. Historically used at farms and in fieldwork, which incorporates flatwork and “natural” obstacles. In this clinic we will be going over dressage and obstacles. No preparation is required and all are welcome to join the fun.
Each of the obstacles will be discussed on how to properly perform, as well as training tips and suggestions. The dressage portion will cover the movements, but also the differences between traditional dressage and WE dressage.
Intro - Walk/Trot, with no speed
*Novice A - walk/trot/canter, trotting obstacles with canter between.
*Novice B - WTC, cantering most obstacles with simple changes through the trot, canter between obstacles.
*Intermediate A - WTC, cantering the obstacles with simple changes through the walk.
*Intermediate B - WTC, cantering the obstacles with flying changes.
